Retro Girl
Hey everyone!
I figured it's been so long since I've been on AmiBay that I should re-introduce myself!
I'm a former AmiBay moderator, who took a big turn into retro and modern gaming for quite a while. I still have a passion for my retro computers, and I'm working on setting up my computer room in the house I moved into about a year ago.
One thing I've been doing during my absence is continuing to improve on my soldering skills and board repairs. Way back in 2009, I created a thread asking for "Proper Soldering Help". With the help of the community, and lots of practice I've gotten very good with an iron. Still need to work on hot air reword though.
I've been working on the biggest project I've ever attempted. An Acill Amiga 4000D motherboard. I sourced all the components, and have assembled it by hand with my inexpensive YiHua soldering station. I need to transplant the parts from the original (and dead) A4000D motherboard, then it will be ready to go!
I look forward to getting to know all the faces of AmiBay again, both old and new.
Heather
