Hi there..I am a new member and my name is Mark.
I currently live near in Wigan in the United Kingdom.
I first came into contact with Amiga at christmas 1991 when I went to my best friends house on christmas day and he had just got the Amiga 500 Flight of Fantasy package. My world changed forever.
At that time I had a C16+4. My parent could not afford an Amiga so in february 1992 I was bought a C64 Nightmoves pack. This was a big step up from the C16+4 though. Ten months later at Christmas 1992, my parents, still unable to afford the Amiga purchased an Atari 520STE turbo pack. I had 2 great years with this machine.
Finally for Christmas in 1993, 3 years after my first contact with Amiga I got to own my first Amiga. It was the Amiga 600 WWW package. I still own it to this day.
Nowadays, as my xbox gathers dust, my A1200 (ACA1230/56/64/indivisionMKII equipped with 4BGCFHD and whdload) is my main gaming machine and that will not change for as long as i live.
I enjoy using my 1200 everyday. It is the escom version. Great machine! One day i might get a NG AmigaOS4 system...but that is in the future.
In the meantime this looks a great site, which i heard about over at lemonamiga so i thought why not give it a try.
Cheers!!
