Dear AmiBay community,
Originally I’m from Russia but already more than 10 years I live in Berlin, Germany. During my school days (at that time it still was in Soviet Union) I saw some home computers like Atari and ZX Spectrum (soviet clones of it) by my friends but no Amigas. My father worked as CTO in Computing Center and I had access either to old mainframe or to modern PCs but not to Amigas. Even then I moved to Germany where Commodore’s products were very popular in the past I got this platform in touch only two years before in the museum of computer games in Berlin. Today I’m a lucky owner of A600 and A1200 Amigas and planning some upgrade of them. It seems AmiBay is a huge resource of parts for old computers and I hope to find something for my “girls” ;-)
Best regards,
Alexey
