Hello AmiBay.

I am a recent returning Amiga user from the past few months, located in Runcorn.

I used to be a regular Amiga user in the 90s and early 2000s, I remember fondly the old Amibench website which I would use frequently when buying and selling in the days before I got my eBay account.
In the past I have owned many Amiga models, several A500s, a couple of A600s, several A1200s, an A500 Plus and a CDTV.
I have also owned an AmigaOne G3-600 SE (the less said about that the better).

I have contributed to the now sadly-defunct Total Amiga Magazine which was run by SEAL in the early 2000s and was once one of the moderators on AmigaWorld.

I left the Amiga scene in 2003 over ongoing issues with the AmigaOne, and pessimism about the future and bored of waiting for OS4 to arrive and got my first Mac.
I still use a Mac today (using one to write this) but next to it have an A1200, my new baby :)

My current setup is A1200, 4gb CF card running OS 3.1, display is Indivision AGA Mk II + Benq BL702A 17" LED monitor.
On the way is an ACA1221, next plans involve getting a wireless card and going online :-)
I have a Squirrel SCSI + External CD which I cannot get to work at the moment.

I am currently setting up a North West Amiga User Group (NWAG) which currently has over 25 members.

I look forward to some good deals and meeting some good Amiga people :-)

Kind regards,
Spud.

Ooo NWAG sounds ace, I'm based in Manchester, I'd be interested in that :)

I like Runcorn. Used to work for Evolution Studios based there :)
