Hello,
I'm an old time Amiga/Commodore guy. I was one of the original Commodore re-sellers in this area in the 80s and 90s, but now I just enjoy playing with them. I get more enjoyment out of an old 2000 than I do my Mac Pro. I am currently working on three A2000s, one of them is a Video Toaster that I originally sold in 1992, and it found it's way back to me years later. I still have some of my old dealer displays, on my garage wall is a mounted original Commodore display introducing the new A1200, this one used to hang on my office wall along with ones for the A2000, A3000 desktop, A3000T, A4000 desktop and an original A4000T, not the one sold by Escom years later, the original had a different tower case. Alas, I gave most of the promo material away when we closed the company.

Welcome! I've had more fun with my 2000's than my other Amigas as well (I have two A2000s, both with '040 accelerators). Tomorrow I'm planning on soldering in an ISA socket into my "beater" 2000 so it can accept a Peak 650 as a bridgeboard. Go big, or go home, I suppose. :)

This is where I found out about them:

Welcome aboard! I'm a fairly new Amiga user, but I certainly learned fast! I beefed mine up with a video toaster as well. I'm just waiting for some BNC adapters to show up in the mail so I can start playing with it.

I was wanting to fill in the ISA connectors on mine, but I couldn't scrounge any up from the old computers I had kicking around. I also couldn't find what I needed online, so I just left it alone. I don't have a bridgeboard anyway, so I figured it's not worth the bother to try tracking them down.
