Hello everyone!
I am Chris from Poland. I actually never had Amiga and sadly don't think I will have one anytime soon considering the budget (it'd be fun for sure tho.).
I like to play with retro hardware when I can and it's kind of my hobby. My last 'encounter' was with ZX Spectrum 48k that my friend stored in attic. With a bit of fixing and cleaning it actually started up and we were able to load few tapes via audio jack :smile:
My current playground is with Windows 98 compatible computers (for some 3dfx games, not exactly retro in terms of build/hardware because of free space issues...). While mostly you'd find them loaded with celerons, pentiums etc. the one I am currently working on is powered by Transmeta Efficeon TM8600.
I hope that AmiBay will help me with my hobby projects and I'll eventually purchase some Voodoo3 or later for PCI bus here. I already own one Voodoo2 PCI that I use for playing old games and testing compatibility between it and some AMD based platforms, and one Voodoo3 for AGP slot that I (sadly) have no hardware to use it with.
