Hey all,
Long time prowler first time signing up. My interest started in PC's at a young age thanks to my uncle who owned a local computer shop. I have a decent collection of consoles (Sega, Nintendo, Ataris mostly) but my main passion is retro PC hardware, I have several beautiful builds and hardware. My main areas era's of interest are as follows
-Socket 4 hardware & 5volt pentium 66mhz
-Mid to Late 90's & year 2000 hardware (The start of 3D accelerated games so 3dfx of course), Pentium 2/ pentium 3, AMD K6-3 with associated chipsets.
-"Windows xp" natively compatible hardware (Love dual GPU ATI cards/ Crossfire/ SLI builds)
-faster 486 stuff
-I do venture out of these main areas
A few of My favourite systems i cant bring myself to tear down
-Asus p3c intel i820 chipset with rdram, Voodoo 5, Turtle Beach Santa Cruz
-Asus p5a ALI alladin 5 AMD K6-3 450, voodoo 2 SLI
-Asus p6td x58 i7 975, 2 x ATI 5970 dual gpu cards in crossfire
-EFA socket 4 motherboard pentium 66mhz, Tseng et4000w32, Midi sound card
Nice to meet you
Sam
