A quick hello and introduction.
My first Amiga was a 1200, back in about 1994. I'd spent the previous year getting to know the Amiga through a friend's 600, and his borrowed Amiga Format magazines. Never much of a games player, I ran a dial-up BBS (which I think still counts as the most fun I've ever had with computers), dabbled in programming and general productivity. From about 2000, my day to day use of Amigas lessened, but they were always (and remain) dear to my heart. I made various short lived attempts to resurrect those halcyon days (buying an Amiga 4000, with Cybervision 64/3d and an 060 processor - the buginess spoilt it/buying another a1200/playing with AROS). I might yet get a MorphOS machine - or an Amiga OS 4 machine (if they can only make some reasonably priced board/OS combo).
Check out my bumper magazine collection I'm selling off cheap - dating back to those very first borrowed magazines (my friend's mag is in the collection - but he gave it to me somewhere along the way).
