Hello from a new A1200 owner!

Hi all.

Thought I'd pop on here and say a quick 'Hello'.
I used to be lucky enough to be one of the first kids in the neighbourhood to own an Amiga back in the day (worked at a computer shop for a Saturday job) and started off with the Batman pack.

I must have completed that game a dozen times and still go back to it now.

I'm trying to get back into Amiga gaming now (in a retro way) having bought an A1200 and a CF card with WHDLoad games on it.

I'm sure you've heard this a thousand times but I didn't realise I needed a memory upgrade to run most of the games. They aren't that easy to get hold of are they?!?!

if you get stuck for a ram/memory upgrade, you can always place a wanted add on the site. You will probably need a couple of posts before you can do so though (I think).

Welcome mate, memory upgrades turn op frequently here, you need some patience though.

Although it might be better if you buy an 030 cpu at 50 mhz card it costs a bit more, but it makes an A1200 very responsive with older software.

The A500 Batman was awesome at the time, I got the later cartoon classics version but now run a a1200 as the main machine.
