Hello everyone. Long time PC enthusiast here. I've been building my own PCs since the mid 90s, and certainly got caught up the cycle of constant upgrading. Willingly gave up some great hardware for the money to afford the latest and greatest.
Recently, I've started to feel like I'm only upgrading my computers to render Internet ads faster. Furthermore, I find myself with a lifetime's worth of video games that run just fine on my most modern system. As such, I've been going back in time to recreate the systems I enjoyed the most, and experience hardware I never got my hands on instead of pushing forward.
This means I've joined this forum in search of PC hardware. Specifically, I'm interested in the old ISA sound cards by the likes of Ensoniq, Turtle Beach and Roland, plus workstation grade hardware like SCSI storage or workstation video cards.
Otherwise, it will be great to see what hardware is out there that I don't know about!
