Hello Amibayers!
I have the Spectrum and Amiga to thank for getting me into the video game industry, which has given me a decent living for the last 15 years. My endeavours on the Amiga made me no money, but gave me a lot of experience and fun. The output of my year of 680XX/AGA coding fun can be seen here.
I recently dusted off my trusty old computers for some retro computing fun with my boy (now eight) with mixed results (Sinclair: 1, Commodore: nill)
So, It looks like I’m currently the proud owner of a working ZX Spectrum (with external keyboard, and 5 1/4 inch disk drive), an Amiga 500 with (hopefully just) a broken power supply, and my old pride and joy, an Amiga 4000 with leaked battery and grey screen at bootup
I'd love to get the A4000 restored to its former glory, and set up in the boy’s bedroom. Maybe he’ll be inspired – or maybe he’ll just demand a Wii like all his friends...
