Greetings, I just cleaned out my parents basement and found a pile of Amiga's and Amiga Hardware from the late 80's.
I am in the process of cleaning them up and will be keeping one iconic and fully loaded Amiga 1000 for myself and offering the rest for sale.

One of the most unique Amiga's is an Amiga 1000 with a Lucas/Frances board. I read the docs, did some debugging and got it working!
The Lucas is an accelerator board with a 68020 and 68881 Math Co used to speed up programs like Sculpt 3D and the FRANCES is a memory expansion that gives the processor a 32-bit direct bus to memory. So many brilliant talented people made really cool stuff and companies encouraged it. So different from today where everything is a state secret and you can't even change the internal battery in your phone or laptop.

I found an old Supra Toolbox with two Bus Extender extender slots: slot 1 has a Quantum SCSI drive and slot 2 has an 8MB RAM. Both fired right up after all of these years to my amazement. Even the floppies discs are readable.

I am glad this community exists and plan to hang out here and see what is new in the word of Amiga. I've already ordered a GoTek Floppy drive with the OLED screen and knob. I would really like to find a replacement for the SCSI harddrive on the A1000 since I know it won't last forever.

I also plan to 3D print some new covers and buttons for the A1000 and jazz up the appearance a bit.

Also, does anyone know if there is an Archive of the Amiga Transactor magazines anywhere online?

Nice to meet you all, hope I didn't ramble on too much.
