I got my first Amiga 500 in 1987 at the age of 14 years. Best Xmas present ever!
In 1990 I was one of the founding members of an Amiga use group (Amiga Club Genk) and was active board member until its demise in 2001.
I was very much into coding (BASIC, C) and, on a more creative note, tinkered a bit with raytracing software (Real3D) or music trackers (Oktamed)
Since then I've moved on to other platforms (the Mac primarily) , and also my professional career (in IT) & family life pushed my Amiga interest more in the background.
However, I still own two A2000's and an A1200 (that I traded for my CD32 back in the day) that I cherish and love in my spare time (recapping and so on...)
Recently decided to thinker with PiStorm2K and build my own boards.
Boy! I wish I would have had this kind of performance when I was editing our user group newsletter in Pagestream in 1994!
