Long time lurker, but finally signed up, glad to finally be a member
. I have an old A2000HD-040 with Picasso II decked out that was my daily machine back in the 90's I haven't fired it up in years. I also have a stock A500 Rev 5 motherboard running 2.0 Roms with nothing else. I would like to get this thing up and running a nice WHDLoad setup or use with a Gotek drive maybe. I like the idea of going with the A500 since it's a lot more portable than the A2000. I can pull it out and plug it in and use, then put it away after I'm done, much like my C64 
I haven't been keeping up on all the goodies available for the A500, so I need to research just what my needs really are to get something like this going.
I'm not sure if my best course of action is something like a Gotek drive, or some sort of accelerator with an IDE interface and use CF cards.
Also trying to figure out the best places to pickup Amiga stuff in Canada.
