Just a quick post to say hello to everyone! Signed up a few months ago but never got around to posting anything... better late then never I suppose.
Been into retro-gaming for years now, but only in the past year something sparked my interest in retro-computing. Gaming of course on these retro computers, but my interests really are around "old school" programming. Decided to start out exploring a bit into the Amiga, which was something I was just a few years too young for when it was in it's prime (although I think the main reason really is that my family's first computer was a 386... we never had any Amigas, Ataris or Commodores). Still wanted to see what it was all about for myself though. Grabbed an Amiga 500, a bunch of software and physical copies of programming books and went from there. However not long after that, I started getting nostalgic for DOS and got into building PCs of that era. Currently working on a 486 build which I'm doing from scratch getting all the parts individually. We'll see where things go from there I guess.
Great community here, looking forward to being a part of it.
