I'm a retro computer user since '87. I have an interest in Commodore 64, Amiga A500 and A2000 computers and accessories. I primarily joined in hopes of finding a few replacement parts for my A2000 and maybe meeting people who have similar interests. I am also a comic book collector and appreciate sci-fi films and television.

It's been rough with Covid in the area for the last 9 months to say the least, but I'm managing. The local officials are constantly alternating back and forth on whether they want keep restaurants open or closed due to increases and decreases in number of virus cases. We're in a phase of no dining in again. Just waiting for places to open again.

Hey there. I'm new here too and also from Chicago. Actually the suburbs, but close enough! Looks like we may also be after the same things! I just obtained an Amiga 2000 and am looking for more parts for my A2000. Hopefully we don't compete with each other on many things! I also have an A500 and an A1200. I could never afford these as a kid or get my parents to buy one for me, so now I'm purchasing some older systems like these Amiga's and getting to play with the things I missed out back in the day. I don't have any extra A2000 parts I can part with yet, but maybe some day we could help each other out with parts.
