Hi,

I am Christian from Cologne. I am software developer (mainly embedded IoT and cloud stuff). My hobbies are retro programming and retro hardware. I started with the Atari 2600 (details can be found here), moved over to Sega Genesis (did a region free mod and a genesis2amiga adapter) and ended up with the amiga ;)

At the moment, I am trying to implement a very basic demo production (I am not a real scener, more "scene affiliated" ;)) and to bring my Amiga 1200 in perfect shape (I already changed key caps, case, added a flicker fixer, ide2cf for internal hard disk, a 68030, 128 MB RAM and did a recap :))

Programming ATARI 2600 of Assembler is hard !!!

From the specs you have listed it seems you ended up with a fine Amiga specimen!
An expanded 1200 is probably the most versatile member of the Amiga family :)

Could you please post some pictures from you 1200 and also from the inside / motherboard ?

here are a few pics how it looks :) keycaps are black. case is semi transparent blue'ish. and fun fact: because key caps were sold out I had to buy swiss layout ;)

I think i ordered the same case but i am not sure
I think it is labeled as “asahi grey” what is your keyboard original layout ? Uk? How does that work with the wrong keys then?
 
I like black keyboard and where do you buy black keyboard please?

cool, the asahi series is awesome. I just checked, mine is "Shinkai Blue". Regarding keyboard layout: Thats not a problem because it is configured in software. You can switch iin the Workbench to whatever layout you like. Of course, for an american it would be strange to use a german qwertz style but in my case swiss is almost equal to german. :)
