Hi to you all !
I'm from France and am 33.
I began when my father bought an Amstrad 1512 with plenty of games floppies, then moved on a 486SX25. With this one I have some of my fondest memories of gaming (with Carrier Command, Monkey Island and X-Wing for the strongest). Over the years I acquired more PCs, I finally dumped all my old towers, mainly because they did clutter my father attic, a few years ago, and of course now I regret it. So, after fumbling with a Raspberry Pi on this, I finally decided to try to rebuild/acquire a real 486-comp for DOS gaming and I stumbled on your site. This forum is amazing and also a great source of old references on hardware (to my greatest shame I have forgotten a lot since these days, could'nt even remember the socket of a 486
).
Not the most original introduction, but heh, courtesy demands at least to say hi as a newcomer
