Hello Amibay,

Im a retro/vintage game collector from Germany. I´m 30 years old and married to a girl who collects video games&consoles herself.
In real life i work as an engineer in Railway construction.
My Wife and me started collecting back in 2013. At first just the common stuff from our Childhood that means Nintendo and some specific Sega Consoles and Games.
After a while , maybe 1 or 2 years later, the collection grew up and we had to move to get an extra room. (i guess some people here know that problem:)

Since then ,almost 7 years of collecting later , we now have 2 Rooms with gaming Stuff and we still enjoy it daily.
During vacation we found a lot of things around the world and its always some kind of magic when you remember the little store in Japan where u bought that one game, or the thousands of People in NY passing that store you were inside when you bought a console. Nice memories and im really happy that almost every single piece of my Collection has its history.

So finally i arrived here because theres a lot of stuff in old Retro Computers im still looking for.
My Home Computer collection is nothing to show off at the moment.
I´ve got an Amiga 2000 from Flea-market and two C64 as well as one Macintosh Classic and a Quadra 700.
A few weeks ago we bought an Amiga3000 and an A1200.

I do all the repairs on my own , as well as the "modding".
My technical "know-how" and my soldering skills grew with my collection and now im able to finish the most Mods/repairs on my own.
Its a different relation you get to a console if you restore it as good as possible and make a piece of crap working again.

Thats all for now,
cya around :)
