Hey everyone!
I’m a software developer and tech nerd from southern Germany. Even though I was born in the 90s, I got into with vintage computer gear early on (Atari, 286 PCs, etc) since my dad worked in the IT department of a bigger company and he would always bring home retired hardware for me to fiddle with.
Another big part of my life is music (I play piano, guitar and bass and work as a freelance sound engineer and producer as well) and my first home studio was built around an Atari Mega ST2 with Cubase 3.1 with some analog synths connected to it and a tape machine, even though Avid Pro Tools and Apple Mac Pros were state of the art in music studios already.
Sadly, in my early 20s when I moved out of my parents house, I scrapped all my old PC stuff and sold the Ataris way under value. Pretty much the only thing left is a C64 with a bad graphics chip. Now I’m kind of nostalgic and I want to set up a new, small but nice collection.
Let’s see, where it goes
Thanks for having me!
