Hi,
My early working life was spent selling, installing and repairing computers. It started for me when I got my first job selling typewriters. Then came digital calculators (Sinclair) and watches, followed by the ZX80. This then led to an explosion in computing and other machines followed. Some odd ones too, anyone remember the Jupiter Ace, or the New Brain(the machine that was nearly the BBC Micro). Of the various machines I sold, I ended up with a collection of the more popular ones, my plan was to have a room set up at home with all the machines ready to use at the touch of a button. Then Life got in the way and the priority shifted to raising kids. Most machines havent been turned on since the late 1980s. I am at the stage where i'm thinking about clearing out everything i've collected as a job lot. I currently own:-
ZX81, memory exp.,CBM 64, floppy, printer, Timex Sinclair 2068, 4 x Sinclair QL, BBC Micro, Floppy drive, A2000, memory exp., SCSI I/F, AT Bridge Board, 68020, 68030, Flicker fixer, ATi 16 bit graphics card(for Bridge Board), Sinclair Z88.
Also have a lot of accesories, some books, magazines and S/Ware for these machines. I even have 2 x 23 pin D type extension cables, the stuff one collects is mind boggling. One of my jobs was making custom cables back in the day and to this day, i'm finding connectors and the likes in almost any drawer in my house.

Cheers.
Billy.
