I’ve had the pleasure of living in a lot of different states in the US, and am currently enjoying life in Indiana.
When I was a kid I bought a C64 with the money I earned from my paper route, and enjoyed programming, playing games, and modifying games. I eventually moved on to a C128 and finally to an Amiga 500.
When I was a teenager I worked at a video rental store that also sold PCs and Amigas, and that is when I discovered and fell in love with the Amiga, starting with the amazing and beautifully-designed A1000.
Unfortunately I got rid of my Amiga 500 collection about 20 years ago and stopped paying attention to the world of Amiga.
Many moons passed, and about a year ago I bought a C64, and more recently I obtained a C64C and C128D. I’m very satisfied with my Commodore 8-bit collection and now it is time to once again enjoy the experience of owning and using an AMIGA!
I’m not quite sure yet which model I will get, but I do want an AGA machine. For sentimental reasons I love the wedge design of the A1200, and I would love to have the power and expandability of an A4000, but reality is I may get something in between: a Checkmate 1500 Plus case with an A1200 MB, souped up of course. But, I’m still educating myself on what designs and components are available and the pros and cons of everything.
Looking forward to learning from everyone here and doing business with some of you!
