Hi everybody, I'm Mark.
I have an Amiga 500 and 1200 that even after all these years work perfectly despite mainly residing in the attic. I set them up every so often and tinker around with them but they never stay out long as they need connecting to our TV and take up room.
However, my plan is to make some more room in my study to permanently set them up with an LCD monitor. My plan is to get to know them properly again, check they are healthy (especially the batteries), transfer my original software to compact flash then maybe implement some tasteful upgrades.
I guess it is partly a nostalgia trip but it's always good to have a few projects to distract from the hassles of life.
I'd also like to gradually build up an Amiga 3000 or 4000 from second hand parts but that's probably a more long term ambition.
The Amiga gave me so many happy years so it's great to see how much interest renains in them.
Thanks
Mark
