Many years ago I left a tertiary course when a friend had an Amiga 1000 and it made me realise I didn’t want to be doing what I was doing at all, so I bought a 1000 too and then did a degree in computer science. I finished, and am now decades into a career programming all kinds of stuff. And maybe can finally afford a 68030.

Years later a professional acquaintance offers me a 1200! So here I am, looking for various bits.

I did! Wanted a replacement case for an A1200 that was promised to me... but then I found one in stock somewhere and closed it again. I got the Amiga, the case is on its way, but since I have no video solution for now I have no clue if it works yet. Going to star checking out all the old TVs in the house, see if any still accept composite. Long shot!
