Hello.

I got my start with the Pet in grade school. My first was a Vic 20 followed by a C64 and I ran a C-Net BBS off three 1541's in the mid 80's.

I went to college for EET and, from there, worked as a technician for a Commodore dealer from the late 80's to the early 00's - we were doing mostly video production/animation computers by the end but we were still servicing Amigas and C64's where we could. I've been in IT/programming since then but have started getting into vintage systems as a hobby after my wife passed away. I am mostly trying to do what I always wanted to do in my youth and dive into all of the systems from the 80's and 90's from both the US and the UK.

My current obsession is to be able to get an AGA Amiga, C128DCR, Falcon 030, TRS Model IV, DEC Rainbow, CoCo 3, Dragon 64, and BBC Master 128 without having to break the bank but it will likely be a while. The Spectrum +3, CPC464, CPC6128, MDD Mac, 68K Mac, Oric Atmos, and 8-bit Ataris are on my shortlist.

I also collect vintage calculators (mostly HP,) have started collecting cartridge-based consoles, and am working on both RetroPi's and MiSTer FPGA's.

Welcome to Amibay. I do like old calculators, I have one by Commodore which I use.

I do have one Commdore calculator in my collection: an SR 4190R. It was a Commodore and looked interesting with its key layout but I always fall back on an HP for daily use. I am leaning towards getting a Sinclair calculator but have yet to see one that interests me.
