Dear all,

after having registered some years ago, so my introduction is overdue.

i am an Amiga Enthusiast from Munich and have been a Commodore user and fan since around 1980. Starting with a CBM 3032 in the school's computer room, I acquired a VC20 shortly after its release. This was later replaced by a C64, and then by an SX64.
Shortly after the first rumors of a new supercomputer from Commodore emerged, I was "infected," and an Amiga 1000 was acquired - after it finally became available in Germany. (Does anyone still remember Seemueller Computer in Munich?)
This was followed by the usual additions like Golem2MB, SideCar, external 3.5" and 5.25" floppy drives, and later an internal HDD controller with RLL HDD (ST238).
The limited expandability of the A1000 and the somewhat "shaky" HDD construction increasingly bothered me over time. I was able to sell the whole set for an exorbitant price and acquired an A2000, which was upgraded over time.
Due to my studies and the demise of Commodore, I gradually moved towards PCs, but never completely lost sight of the Amiga scene and development.
The A2000 was eventually "mothballed" in 1998 and stored away securely.
Over time, I've come across some beautiful machines from my youth,

currently in possession are:

PET2001 from 1978 in absolute top condition (traded for 2 memory chips(!))
SX64 (mint condition, acquired cheaply)
Amiga 1000 Pal + 1081 (mint condition, a gift from a friend)
Amiga 2000B Rev 6.2 + Vampire 500V2+
Amiga 3000 + Ariadne + Cyberstorm MK2 64MB + GVP EGS 24 Spectrum (a gift from a friend)

After nearly 25 years, I've gotten back into it, and the A2000 has been reactivated,
the defective SCSI hard drive was replaced with a SCSI2SD, luckily I had backed up the HDD content years ago.
For my A3000 i bought a Zuluscsi card as a replacement for the loud scsi hdd.
Actually i am searching for a Parceiro 2.
Best Regards
Pete
