Hello, my name is Stefan. So "Steve" fits quite well here.

My daughter says I'm old and hard of hearing. ;-)

I didn't grow up with the Amiga or the C64. Those things were always too expensive for us. We always played with them at the homes of ‘more privileged’ friends or relatives.
After I started earning money myself, I was able to get hold of one of the last CDTVs in a complete package. However, due to the poor compatibility and the poor realisation of the games, there wasn't much going on with it either. Also because of the lack of free time and four years of evening school.

After that, there were no more Amigas to buy and I had to deal with a ‘real’ PC at work.
I was very shy (and still am I: "Shy, that it hurts"), but later my wife and children came along and they also wanted to be fed.

When my parents claimed the storage space in the attic for themselves, I reactivated my CDTV from there.
I have fun tinkering with it at quite long (very long) intervals.
Some time ago I built the 3.2-Rom into the CDTV and also swapped the extremely noisy SCSI hard disc for an SD2SCSI solution.
In the meantime I also have patched extended ROMS from cdtvland and dream of an affordable turbo card in the CDTV.

So best regards from me
steffor (Steve)
