Hello there,
I live in the Russian Federation and from summer of 2016 I started working with Amiga A500 (rev. 5)
I bought it as defective from German seller with about hundred software disks. Luckily it worked (cannot say the same about half of software)
I had an IBM PC-compatible circa from 1994, before that my older brother had some homebrew ZX-Spectrum clone as gaming/programming machine.
In January of 2017 my cousin agreed to part with (actually my aunt saved it from throwing away) his 1995 Sega MegaDrive2 (aka Genesis) which we used to play with on summer vacations from 1996 until late 1999.
After I graduated from university I started working at software company in service department and somehow, learning bits from tutorials on Youtube got interested in the Amiga computers.
I found that a lot of games I used to like on platforms I mentioned actually came from/had better graphics and sound on the Amiga.
Now I am making some upgrades to my Amiga, mostly memory expansions and some peripherals.
Thank you for reading.
