Hi, I’m an electronic repair technician and have been all my working life.
I started my apprenticeship repairing valved car radio’s then went on to TV then VCR, Camcorder, security systems etc etc through to present day working on giant LED displays such as used for advertising, concerts etc.
In the late 80’s I grew very fond of my C64 at first using it as a gaming machine, then writing databases and business software + expanding its hardware.
Some twenty years ago I inherited a CDTV and popped it on the shelf and forgot about it. About ten years ago I had a mass clean out and without realising it I threw away a box full of old keyboards and mice including the CDTV keyboard and mouse.
I hope to restore this CDTV to fully working condition both mechanically and electronically.
