Hi all - and thanks for letting me join. Looking forward to seeing and maybe acquiring a few nice goodies for my collection of mostly vintage Apple (Motorola & PPC) but also other electronics. There's always something to repair, restore, clean or upgrade! I enjoy getting old electronics back to life by (almost) any means possible, and still use a lot of my >20 year old laptops and computers on an almost day to day basis. Crazy! 
I grew up in Germany and always tinkered with computers, mostly building my own rigs from parts back when I was a teenager. I stopped doing that when I got into software engineering but recently re-discovered this old passion of mine, when I got an old 486SX (since upgraded to a DX) to run some of my older games (why emulate when you can have the real thing).
