Well, Hello there! Dutch retro Fan here. In the past I have owned a lot of computers, starting with a Sinclair ZX81, a Spectrum 16k / 48 k + / 128 k, Atari 8 bit, Atari ST/E. These were my entry in the world of IT. In the nineties I got rid of the ST/E to buy a PC as I was studying and needed a PC.
As time went by, I thought of the good old times with my ST, so I bought a 1040 STFM to relive those old days
. Fast forward to 2016, I now own three Atari 8 bit systems with a floppydrive, SIO2SD, three Atari ST systems. All of them modded and upgraded to 4 mb.
As I always had a liking for the Amiga, that machine really made an impression back in the day... Unfortunately we could not afford it, so we got a a 520 ST with external floppydrive. I really loved that machine too back in the day.
Now, I decided to get myself an Amiga 500 as well to experience this machine too. Of course this machine will receive some upgrades too. But first, explore it a little bit. Get used to Workbench, etc.
It's actually cool to own both 68000 systems
