Hi there everyone, new member here.

As a 30-something, I absolutely love reading about and collecting old 8-bit stuff.

I also like to repair things, and live by the maxim "if it ain't broke, then break it and fix it so it's better than it was before".

Hiyas InactiveX

I am sure you are going to fit in here with that Maxim ;)

Welcome to AmiBay =)

Thank you Zetr0.

From looking at the forum, I feel like I will be OK here!

Welcome :)

8 bit stuff ha ?
So what have you got already ?

I started my run about a year ago and collected about 30 Amiga's and 3 C64's with drives and so on.
I'm more 16/24/32 bit minded :D
And if you count the pc, 64 bit also :shhh:

Cheers!

Looking around the place, 2x2600s, 7800, C-64, BBC Micro, NES... and probably a few more I've forgotten I own.

Welcome InactiveX...

... Quick test... What if it is broken? ;)

Put it on fleabay as untested ;)

@InactiveX

Welcome to AmiNiceBay.

Dave G

Rofl Davideo... remind me never to buy anything 'untested' from you :p

Heheh, I'd normally do one of three things:

1: Grab all the useful parts and store them for the rest of my life

2: Repurpose the item into something pointless that gets in the way

3. Turn it into some unlicensed conceptual art

Thanks, all, for the warm welcome.

You an I sir, are going to get along famously!

I was looking for 'repair it and then make it better than it ever was' but that was an even better answer!
