Hey there fellow Amibayers!
(I like that pun, reminds me of electronic and pirates)
Unfortunately I am a little bit to young to have real memorys with this rather old technics. Roughly 10 years after the C64 saw the light, I came to life, back to reality... :jester: So I really hadn't any clue how amazing the machines actually had been back then. But today I know better! Actually the 8-bit guy started the C64 flame in myself. His game, PlanetX2, sounded quite interesting to me and so I went ahead and bought it. A little while I played it on an emulator, but this wasn't the experience I was looking for. So I got myself a C64 and then everything happened really quickly. I became addicted by reading through all the modifications you could do to this machine and how active the community is for a long gone peace of tech.

To make it short. I am happy to be here at the bay and am looking forward to meeting all of you. Thanks for having me!
PS: Does anyone know if the MixSID or the super kernal are still sold today or did I miss these great projects for real?
