Hi everyone. I am a "retro gaming" enthusiast, I suppose, but I think all that means is that I am going back and playing all of the games I wasn't able to afford when I was 12. I heard about this place when looking for some of the more esoteric hardware that I have lost one way or another over the years. I am still somewhat dumbfounded that these things that were once so common are seemingly nowhere to be found, except in places like this. This seems like a neat community and I look forward to getting to know everyone. Thanks.

i couldn't afford the Amiga as a kid either, had a c64, bought an Amiga 1200 later on but by then games were just a part of it's use
then when windows 95 came out, my 1200 was sitting there unused, sold it to buy the playstation 1, always regretted that

got a 1200 again a couple weeks back, upgrading it to current tech, DVI/HDMI out, ssd and optical mouse
waiting for the ssd to reinstall it and really start using it
