Help please! Indivision Mkr2cr

Hey Friends

im struggling a bit.

I recently bought an indivision mkr2cr

out of the box I can’t get it to talk to my Asus or Acer 15hz friendly monitor.

i am using an Escom A1200. Should that make a difference?

I have tried resetting a large number of times...

i dont seem seem to be able to copy the software over as the install file doesn’t work and it seems to copy over itself because the file names shorten once they hit the Amiga.

I have tried all sorts of combinations for dvi, I, d and a, dvi to hdmi adapter, vga etc.

i have attached ground cable...

i can can easily use a RGB with vga adapter on the monitor and it works brilliantly...

any help would be awesome please

Quick questions:

1) Does the standard DSUB23 (RGB port) on the Amiga work when you have the mk2cr installed?

If the standard RGB-port works while the MK2cr is installed, the installation should be OK. That of course if the MK2cr is working correctly.

2) Do you use DVI or VGA input on your monitor?

If the card was bough as used, the settings can be wrong. You can set the "Output" to DVI only or DVI+VGA and if you have DVI only while using the analogue signals you will not get a signal.

these can be tricky do you have the config software installed? I have one in my A4000 and had one for a1200 too sometimes u need to setup software from here: http://wiki.icomp.de/wiki/Indivision_AGA_MK2
