I have a problem with my Amiga 2000 I have acquired recently locally.

I only get a blanc screen on boot, i.e. nothing on the screen, the power led lights up and the key caps on the keyboard also.

What I have done up to now:

a) Replaced all socket IC with good ones from my Amiga 500, with the exceptions of Buster IC that does not exist on Amiga 500.
b) Removed the battery, not very corrected must say.
c) Also removed the ISA card that the HD was mounted.

Is there anything else to do to trouble shoot the problem?

Hi,

Did you ever get the board working? I have two rev 4.1 boards which exhibit the same symptom.

I've redone solder pads and checked cpu and Rom socket continuity with no change.

I'm thinking cap replacement next...

I'm also going to reflow all the major chip connections. If I have any success I'll post it here.
