Hello!
This place is a true haven for die hard Amiga folks (that's me included!), I only wish I knew about it earlier.
Chiming in from Melbourne, Australia. I'm an on-site tech working for a large I.T. firm assisting both domestic and commercial clientele.
I have regretted selling my mint Amiga 600HD back in 1994 for a 486 DX2-80 for a very long time. I always felt the Amiga gave me more enjoyment and the childhood memories are sheer bliss. Have been without an Amiga since then but over the past month have suddenly gone on a buying rampage (more fitting than using the word spree I think). Over $1000USD on bits and bobs from all over the place.
I think the bug has bitten because I'm now trawling the sale thread waiting to pounce on more machines and accessories. You'd think the A1200HD, A600HD and A500 I've purchased from ebay sources etc. over the last few weeks would've been enough...... my problem; once I get started on something I often find it very difficult to put a stop to it. Might be building an extension to the house in the not too distant future! :O
