Just posting to say hello to everyone here, I found this site after a bit of a nostalgia trip on Youtube, looking at videos of games like Settlers, Beneath A Steel Sky etc - and got the urge to boot up an Amiga again. I'm 29, my first computer was an Amiga 500 that my dad gave me when I was about 3; he had a 1200, and later we had a CD32 - some of my earliest memories are Amiga-themed, and I was hooked and fascinated from the start.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to scratch the Amiga itch after that nostalgia trip; my Dad has always avoided holding onto any old stuff, so the 500, 1200 and CD32 (with SX-1) all ended up in a skip about 10-15 years ago, along with his record collection - all unbeknownst to me at the time, and all of which I would love to have right now!
I did, however, get a replacement CD32 about ten years ago, and I'm looking to use a TerribleFire module so that I can see that glorious Workbench 3.1 UI again.
Anyway, I look forward to being part of this community!
