I used to have a C64 (bread bin) with 1541 II, and loved it, sold it moved to Amiga 500 (+512k, Action replay III) and loved it too. Than time has change and sold it, bought the dumb 386+ with no multitask (compare to amiga) and since the wold started use in mass amount I became a pc, network tech. I make my living from people, who use this dumb machines and messes them up 
Personally I use mac, and pc for work only. (for some reason you just can't take certification tests with dell, lenovo or any pc manufacturer on safari, only on internet explorer..... 
icard , not to mention the menu on dell dtt doesn't work at all with safari). So after all this years, I get interested in repairing and restoring C64 systems, I'm at the beginning but doing my homework, and hopefully will be able to save some of this arts for the future.
I'm so happy to find this website since some hardware piece not that easy to find, and I'm hoping to find couple of things. Thank you for accepting my registration.
