Hello there,

I've recently rediscovered my old Amiga A1200 and found this cool site.

Can't belive there is such a large interest still going for the Amiga.

The site suggests an introduction, so here goes...

About me. Just an ordinary guy, wouldn't consider myself a nerd or geek ;) . I live in the UK. I'm currently between jobs but was at HP for 14 years and before that was a qualified Electrician for 10 years.

My interests are (too many!) The Amiga (and computers in general), Astronomy(astrophotography), Model making, playing guitar and recently started learning piano/keyboard.

I also mess about with bits of code now and then, Dreamweaver, PHP and MySQL stuff most recently, although I've used and supported a number of other technologies at HP.

Looking foward to chatting with you.

Cheers for now,
Ed.

Welcome to the Retro House of Hackery! You should take a look around and see what can be done with old retro hardware these days, it's quite surprising; the Photo Booth section is recommended.

Although we started as an Amiga site, we embrace all retro formats these days.
