Hi from Australia - I miss my Amiga !! :(

Hey all, pushing through my 30's at the moment and reminiscing about my old Amiga 1000 and 500... Not happy my mother sold all my Amiga stuff when I moved out in 2001 icard

Been looking to get an Amiga 500 for the past few weeks and I've been staking ebay and gumtree for something local but I havent had any luck yet...
Come across this website and seen some cool new hardware being developed, kinda got my heart set on a 600 now but trying to find one in Australia is a nightmare (so many available in the UK!!)

Anyway just doing the right thing and making a post here to introduce myself

Hey mate welcome, and as a fellow Aussie (EDIT: Queenslander) I can totally sympathise with you! Can be quite expensive if buying overseas (not so much in hardware more to do with the postage) but just keep your eyes peeled and it will pay off All the best!

Heya, originally from Mt Isa but been in Brisbane for the past 15 years.
Can vaguely remember going to some Amiga User Group meetings at the Overlander but I was only about 7

Ha! Yeah I really dont want to pay for postage, could get another Amiga locally just for the postage cost Definitely going to order some bits from the UK tho, jealous of the Amiga scene over there...

Couple of weeks I should have an Amiga on my desk, I brought that Amiga Forever bundle and its keeping my entertained for the time being
