Hey everyone, so I've never really used any Amigas before, but I picked up an A500 a while ago. Looking in to what I need to do to get software on it in this modern age. Besides that, mostly into repairing old game consoles and stuff.
The biggest bang for your buck particularly starting out is to look at a gotek drive and to flash it with HXC or FlashFloppy firmware, my preference is flash floppy
Then you can use floppy images on a USB stick (ADF format predominately) - If you get a simple variant of the gotek (e.g. with a 7 segment display and basic buttons) I would recommend you look at spending a few bucks and getting an OLED display and look at using a rotary encoder (or blackberry trackball) as it will make it much more quality of life friendly
