Recently got an A1200 I gave to my Mum many years ago back from my Dad, it was pretty messy inside (mud wasps had set up inside it at one stage), but after cleaning it all up and carefully checkeing teh PSU and monitor were working I plugged it in and it works, which is great as I want to set it up for the kids to play some of my favorite games from childhood.
If you were reading Amiga Format back in the early 90's you may know me as the guy that tried to get a legitimite port of ICQ happening. I also uploaded a bunch of backdrops on Aminet (LoonyBD) back in the day.
My main plan of attack is to set the machine up with a big HD and use WHDLoad, and make some really strong Joysticks myself out of Arcade components.
Looking forward to playing 4 player MasterBlaster again sometime soon!
