Hey, I was born in the early 80s, was a teenager in the 90s, and thus grew up with PCs of that decade (mid 90s).
First family-owned PC was a late 486 (DX4/100).
Got hit hard by nostalgia recently and started gathering components that I can get my hands on from the mid 90s - mostly for Socket 7 / Pentium class system(s).
Basically want to re-experience the golden years, or at least how I saw them. As a bonus, with faster/better/more components, than what we could afford at the time.
Thus now I also have a Roland SC-55ST MIDI synth, for example, which no one near me had back in the days - for an upgraded games music experience.
Looking forward to collecting more interesting / missing parts. As well as having more free time to actually play with all that stuff.
Hi-five to all 90s fans - this was indeed a great decade!
