I was a big Amiga fan back in the late 80s and early 90s and was so disappointed with the collapse of Commodore and eventual demise of the Amiga as PCs equalled and surpassed the Amiga's capabilities. Sadly, I sold my Amiga 500 around 1997 when I finished university and bought my first PC soon after. These days, I've decided to start looking for another system.
Back in the day, I had an Amiga 500 with SupraRAM 512kB expansion, fat Agnes and the trace cut mod for 1MB chip RAM, a 1MB SupraRAM 500RX, 1084 monitor, Bigfoot 150 power supply, Applied Engineering external floppy, Golden Image mouse, and a used SCSI case that I never got to work. I'm amazed by all of the accelerator cards that I'm seeing reference to and hoping to find something similar myself and build an early 90s dream system.
