Hi all

I'm a casual retro computer enthusiast, located in Central QLD - Australia.

My limited spare time is sometimes spent on cleaning up and servicing and (basics) repairing the handful of 8 bit micros and consoles, occasionally even using them!

The VIC-20 is possibly my favourite Commodore machine. The ZX81 and 48k Speccy tie for favorite in the Sinclair camp and I'm still undecided about favourites in the TIs, Tandys and Acorn machines I'm lucky enough to have. The consoles are another topic - but I think the 8bit micros win out for my favourite devices.

I'm no means an expert in any of these - hence why I've joined yet-another forum to glean info and parts / upgrades sources.

I must add - I'm an ex-Amiga user from back when the A500 (OCS) was available to buy new.... in actual shops. I knew no-other person with one, but plenty with PCs, C64s and a few with STs. I won't rule out getting another 16bit machine of the Commodore flavour.... but it might take some time.
