Hi

Found this site some time ago and thought I sell my items here instead of throwing them in the bin.
I used to follow up on everything regarding Amiga but now I don't have time for all this and choose to free up some space and sell most of it.

This seems like a nice site to do so I guess.

Don't worry about Mac, his meds have worn off and the nurse is currently en-route to administer some more :)

Welcome to the nut house! lol

Those sort of meds are illegal here in Norway hehe

Anyway, what should I else do with all this ? Maybe someone could me interested.

Sadly this is just some of it...

Picture removed as it could encourage silent bidding which is a no-no on here. Dave G

Your best bet to sell off any items you don't want is to search various retro forums and of course here and the other bay for price guidance and then try and sell them for what you think is a fair price.

But whatever you do - don't ask on here for guidance on prices as that is considered price guiding/driving and isn't allowed.

Whatever you decide - good luck (y)

Ahh crap, did not think the picture could lead to silent bidding even though I have not had offers so far.

I have been checking up on prices and will continue to do so before I list any of my items, also I saw that I could use 'best offer' if I listed items so that will help me.

Thanks.

I think the term is more 'or near offer' or words to that effect.

Meaning that people can make offers near your asking price but not above it (n)

I appreciate that your intention wasn't to ask for silent bids but showing or listing hardware that may be for sale could encourage silent bidding

'Near your asking price but not above', ok I got it.
But if I list a few items and I get offers near my asking price would I be obligated to sell or can I refuse without getting a bad feedback ?

Oh yes, I agree it could lead to silent bidding.

Hi Kuzma and welcome.
When receiving offers your under no obligation to accept any offer you don't want to.
But anyone making an offer must declare interest in the sale thread before pm'ing an offer.
Any offers received without declaration of interest in the thread should be reported to a moderator such as Dave G

In my opinion if you get an offer at less than your asking price you have every right to refuse it.

The way we try to work on here is -

Interested parties show interest within the thread so that other people are aware. They may also at the same time ask for postal quotes, queries on the items itself, etc.

Offers are then sent by PM - either the asking price or less.

You may if you wish politely refuse any offer that is less than your original price.

And of course if your item doesn't sell you may reduce the original asking price.

Its all in the rules - have another quick look through them (y)

No-one gives bad feedback unless it's deserved - we're not the other bay

P.S. If any of the above doesn't make sense then blame the bottle of Bacardi I've drunk tonight

It does make sense, it's just that there are a lot of rules to comply with but I'm sure I will get the hang of it.

Thanks guys.

I was nearly in your neck of the woods the other week. One of these weekends I'll get to see my daughter and her fiance up there!!

I'm sure you'd be very welcome up here Dave, I'd definitely share a drink and a chat with you.
Anyway i think its time i hit the sack before them kids wake up again

@Kuzma, there are lots of rules round here but its so much better than going to the alternative of ebay and once you've been around for a few days you'll get the hang of it
