So the video module in the back had a crack in it, I bridged a couple of the visually obvious broken tracks but think it might have part of it (the crack) going under one of the resistors.
Instead I found that video module bypass hack where you connect a couple of pins together inside

I know it's not all that spectacular but I love it when I see Amiga equipment come back to life ! Sorta anyway, doesn't look like the drive is making the disc spin at all .. the light comes on .. but that's about it
