So the video module in the back had a crack in it, I bridged a couple of the visually obvious broken tracks but think it might have part of it (the crack) going under one of the resistors.

Instead I found that video module bypass hack where you connect a couple of pins together inside :)

Tada ! we have a picture :thumbsup:

I know it's not all that spectacular but I love it when I see Amiga equipment come back to life ! Sorta anyway, doesn't look like the drive is making the disc spin at all .. the light comes on .. but that's about it :thumbsdown:

Are you sure you havent disabled the extended rom which in turn has disabled the CDROM?

Considering you can see the insert workbench hand.

edit: Well done getting it working btw. :)

I tried it with jp 15 enabled and disabled both. It can be an audio cd right? I have no cdtv discs :Doh:

p.s.: with jp 15 enabled I get a black/dark gray screen but no disc spin
