I recently bought this A4000 Power Tower (at considerable expense) and when it arrived the on/off button had popped out of the case. I thought it was just a simple case of pushing it back in but when I opened the case and finally got the front panel off it turns out it's much worse than that. The plastic post which operates the power switch when the power button is pressed has been completely snapped in half. I cannot see how to fix this and the switch cannot be operated as it stands.

1. Has anyone got a replacement they could sell me?

2. Does anyone think they can fix this?

3. Does anyone have the same part they no longer need and will sell it to me?

Open to any ideas, fixing these problems is not really my thing (lack of tools and experience) so more looking to pay for parts and/or work carried out to fix it.

Hi Mate,

I've got a whole PSU assembly which was a spare from one of my old Power Towers, I can do it for you for £20 posted.

This could be an option for you if you can't find just the switch.

Steve.

Is that whole section that is screwed to the back of the front power button with the wires that go to the psu attached to it? (don't suppose you have the front panel in a nice white condition going spare as well?)

It's the whole PSU mate, the switch is part of the PSU. I think these might be the same as some old AT PSU's (and A4000T) so maybe you can find the switch part searching for AT PSU's

This PSU along with a couple of HDD brackets is the last Power Tower stuff I have, you're welcome to have those too for free.

Steve.

Money sent that is precisely what I need, with the added benefit of a working psu attached to it so I do not need to get the end bit on my psu changed over for this new one it will just be a complete swap out :)

Super Steve to the rescue again!

Glad to help mate, I'll get it sent off Monday for you :)
