This is an HP MediaSmart EX490 server I received recently and I have no need for it but maybe one of you will find it useful.
Its 4 bays - 3 are empty and 1 has the 250gb boot drive - apparently it will take up to 4gb drives but don't quote me on that. Bays are tool-less.
It's running Windows Home Server I believe - Authenticity sticker is on the base.
Celeron processor apparently (2.2gb) and possibly 2gb Ram according to Amazon.
Reason I'm not sure of these specs is I don't have any login details for this server - it powers up and is available on the network but I don't have the credentials to log onto it in remote desktop and if I try the web interface from Windows 10 (apparently it 'should' work under windows 10 so says the internet) it says its installing something and can't connect - the activity light on the front constantly flashed blue.
Basically it will need a re-install and I don't have any of the recovery disks for this machine (or the patience). If you are unfamiliar with these, please do your research.
If you already have one of these, maybe it needs a twin??
